Math Tutoring Services
Private, individualized tutoring for students in grades 4 through college
I offer one-on-one tutoring sessions in your home, my home, or online with flexible scheduling to make tutoring accessible and convenient.
Math classes covered include elementary and middle school math, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, precalculus, calculus, and statistics. I have experience tutoring students in elementary, middle, high school, and college.
Sessions are typically 50 or 75 minutes for $50 or $75, respectively. During your free consultation, we will discuss an appropriate session frequency and duration.
In situations where a student is not meeting curriculum expectations or has fallen behind, I will evaluate the student’s current level and build a curriculum tailored to their needs. These students may need two sessions a week or more.
For students meeting their grade level’s expectations but needing the additional support of a tutor, we will follow and supplement the school’s curriculum. For these students, I recommend one tutoring session per week or every two weeks.
Teaching Approach
I treat each student individually with compassion, care, and dignity. I understand that math can be a struggle, but I’ve seen time and time again that, with proper support, students grow confidence in their math abilities and thrive academically.
Tutoring should be challenging and engaging, but not overwhelming. This is why I get to know each student and their learning style to foster an environment where they acquire the skills they need to succeed.
